Gatukonst

På bilden har vi jobbat med gatukonst ett tag. Vi skulle välja en byggnad eller liknande i Ullared som vi ville göra något med.

Jag började med att välja en byggnad som jag ville göra om. Och det fick bli denna bilen som hänger/sitter på en vägg här nere i Ullared. Jag valde den för jag hade en bra idé om vad jag skulle kunna göra med den. 

Sen tog jag ett A3 papper och ritade upp min idé. Jag använde en svart markeringspenna för att få skarpa och svarta linjer så att det skulle bli lättare att arbeta med den i datorn sen. 

(Jag klippte ut en mall i papper för att få ballongerna likadana) 

Sen tog jag kort på bilden och la in den i datorn. Där la jag in den på Adobe Photoshop Elements. Sedan använde jag olika verktyg för att färglägga ballongerna snabbt och enkelt. Och efter det klippte jag bort bakgrunden. 

Till sist la jag bilden med ballongerna på bilden med bilen och satte dem där jag ville ha dem. Jag ändrade filter eller tema eller vad man ska kalla det på ballongerna så att det inte skulle se lika "plastigt" ut. 

Jag är ganska nöjd med resultatet om man tänker på att jag aldrig har gjort något liknande förr. Jag tycker att det var lite svårt att jobba med datorn och det var inte så lätt att få det bra med som sagt så tycker jag att resultatet blev hyfsat.

Thoughts

I think that it can be a little hard to realize that all this actually happened. That one person could get so much power over the people and kill millions of innocent people with no good reason. I think that it was really good that we read a little from the diary of Anne Frank because then we could understand a little more how they had it and how it felt to hide like that.
I think that if they never would had found her diary we would know so much less about how jews had it during the second world war. And now when we know how they had it and felt we can know how others who were hiding maybe had it the same way.
I thought it was nice to listen to the podcast or what to call them. Then you could hear other peoples thoughts and what they have been through. Some things were really terrible and sad but as I sad, I think it was good to listen to them so you don't just hear about what Hitler did and what happened and things. Because in the podcasts you could hear the smaller things and not just about how many persons who died and which countries who were involved. In the podcast could you hear more about the details and what really happened to the innocent people.

Why is trust such a important component of a teacher-student relationship?

In the class in the movie it's very important because if the students wouldn't trust their new teacher they would never had written about their lives. The student started to open them self and get closer to each other because they trusted Ms. Gruwell. At fist they hated her but all the things she did made them change their minds and they changed to better persons.

Why is Eva so affected by the ending of Anne Frank's diary?

I think that she is so affected because she thinks that Ms. Gruwell is saying that they all are going to end up like the girl in the book. She knows that she is living a dangerous life and she gets angry because she thinks that Ms. Gruwell is saying to her that she is going to die just like Anne Frank. She also gets mad because Ms. Gruwell didn't tell how the book ended.

What similarities are there between Woodrow Wilson High School and Apelskolan? How are they different?

In Woodrow Wilson High School they seem to put the student in classes depending on how good they are and what grades they have. They put all the good students with high grades in the same classes and the “problem students” in classes for themselves. Thats not how they seem to do it in Apelskolan.

In Apelskolan all the classes start their lessons on different times but in the school in the movie all the classes start at the same time I think.

Why are the students so unwilling to associate with anyone outside their ethnic/racial groups? Where does this intolerance come from?

Because they have seen them or their friends killing persons in their gang.

I think that in the beginning all the gangs didn't have anything against each other but then something happened. And after that they have “hated” each other. That is just a theory but they have to have a reason to hate each other.

Do you think it's more important to “protect your own” or do what's right?

I think that it's more important to do whats right. I think that “your own” means your gang and people who are like you. And I know that it's old but everyone is the same and it doesn't matter what colour you are. Of corse I think that you should protect you own if that is the right thing to do. But if you just do it because someone tells you that you always have to protect your own and you feel that it is the wrong thing to do, then you don't need to. No one can tall you what you think is wrong and right.

Why does Ms. Gruwell's students hate and resent her at first?

Because she is white. They hate white people because they have done a lot of things to “their kind”.

They have arrested their friends and things like that so they think that all white people have something against them. So they hate her et first because she is white and they don't like any white people.  

Utvärdering musikvideo

Vårt samarbete har la varit lite sisådär, Ibland gick det bra men ibland försvann vissa på andra håll en stund. Men jag tycker att det har gått ganska bra.

I musikvideon har jag filmat det mesta av "naturbilderna" och jag har kommit med några av idéerna. Det med att det skulle tona över till färg där refrängen började var min idé men det var Nathalie som skötte det mesta av redigerandet. 

det vi kunde gjort annorlunda är att vi kunde ha lyssnat på den en sista gång så att vi kanske inte skulle missat att ta bort ljudet på några klipp.

Random writing nr 3

I came home from the last day of school. I had the white litter in my hand when i stepped through the door. My mom came to meet me when I came home. I handed her the letter a had in my hand and she opened it. She looked at my grades in all the subjects. I know they weren't the best. She looked at me with a sad look in her eyes and said that I have one last year to get better grades. "You make me feel like I'm not good enough!" I yelled as I opened the door and shut it close behind me as I ran away crying and hating my mom. I never wanted to come back.
